The Best Visual Aesthetics & Design Award recognises the project with the highest attention to detail in both its appearance and its features. This award celebrates creators who have crafted a visually striking project where the aesthetics and the user's interactions are seamlessly integrated with one another.

The Best Sound & Audio Award recognises projects that demonstrate mastery over the sonic environment. This award honours the project that best uses audio, whether through original composition, studio recording, sound effects, dialogue, ambient noise or immersive mixing, to perfectly embody the needs of the work.

The Most Innovative Concept Award is granted to the project that pushes the boundaries of what is seen in current media and/or technology the most, to create a truly unique experience.

The Spotlight Award recognises the phenomenal work of the first year student. It acknowledges various attributes such as ambition, creativity and execution.

The Master of Masters Award is a specialised category for our postgraduate cohort, celebrating the project that demonstrates the highest level of mastery in its discipline. This award honours the student who has navigated the complexities of advanced creative technology to produce a work of significant professional and academic merit.

The Audience Favourite Award is granted to the project that garners the highest number of audience votes during the opening gala.
